Pirated Artist Orders Police Raid on Sony Music

A Sony music office in Mexico has just been raided by police. Apparently when a very popular singer signed with Universal after his 7 year, 7 album contract with Sony ended they released an 8th album under his name without permission.
That equates to piracy, and thus the police were unleashed.

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009Every now and again musicians manage to put together fantastic material, rarer still is work that turns out vaguely original.
Here is a gentleman playing an acoustic guitar with an acoustic electric pickup in the sound hole. He’s playing through an amp and is using a lot of digital delay and chorus.
The number of different sounds he is able to get from the instrument is immense, and reminds me a lot of another musician by the name of Tommy Emanuel, minus the effects. (if you’re interested he is definitely worth a look see on YouTube)
